Counseling Techniques for Substance Use Disorders

This ECHO Idaho series helps counselors and clinicians provide high quality care for individuals in their own communities with substance use disorders (SUDs). 

SUDs can cost more than $740 billion annually in health care expenses, lost workplace productivity and crime-related costs. T在这里fore, SUD education is a tool to help reduce costs to society and improve public health.

Participating in this series means you will learn best practices in SUD treatment, receive detailed feedback on complex client cases and collaborate with other professionals across the state to identify approaches and resources for advancing client care. 

Hour-long, virtual sessions are convenient, engaging and immediately applicable to your practice. This series features a specialist panel of interdisciplinary subject matter experts in clinical professional counseling, certified alcohol and drug counseling, peer recovery coaching, 病例管理, psychiatry and addiction medicine.

Receive free credit hours to satisfy CEU requirements while reviewing complex clients through an interdisciplinary lens and whole person treatment.
